TITUSVILLE, FLA, May 8, 2023— Jess Parrish Medical Foundation received $25,000 in funding from Brevard Indo-American Medical and Dental Association (BIMDA) during their annual Medical Expo and Dinner Awards on Saturday, April 29 at the Hilton Rialto. Funds will be used to support the JPMF Medical Scholarship program, which provide scholarships to students pursuing a healthcare career related to human health. Since 1990, the scholarship program has awarded over $500,000 to more than 450 outstanding applicants.
Glad Kurian, BIMDA Founder and Honorary Executive Director, stated “We are glad to support the future of healthcare with scholarships and wish all the deserving past and future recipients a bright future in their educational and career goals.”
This gift will create the BIMDA scholarship in honor of Dr. Ashok C. Shah and Glad Kurian to provide two scholarships annually to qualifying candidates until 2034.
